Do you have an event or specific shifts that you want to highlight? Use our "experiences" for this.
Step 1: Create a category
To clearly distinguish between the different types of experiences, you first need to create a category.
In this example, we will focus on the end-of-year parties. For example, create a category called "Holidays".
Click the "add" button in the top right corner
In the next screen, you must enter a name. The description and position (for display) are optional.
👉 Tips:
- Uncheck "visible when booking" if you are still in the preparation phase and do not want to display the experience (yet).
- Check "Mandatory to choose an experience" if you want to display only experiences.
After "saving", you will always see a confirmation "Category successfully created" at the bottom right of the screen
Note that you can now find the newly created category:
Here you can clearly see the title, the status (visible/invisible) in the top right, the number of experiences within the category, and edit and delete options in the bottom right.
Click the edit icon to edit the above information again
Click the tile to create an experience for the overview of experiences under this category.
Step 2: Create an experience.
Click the "add" button in the top right corner
In the next screen, name and number of people are mandatory fields.
You can optionally add a description. You can also add an image by clicking in the Images field or by dragging an image here.
A preview is shown on the right side.
Furthermore, you can add the relevant shift or shifts.
👉 Note that you always see the relevant days, and when it concerns a temporary shift, also the start and end date.
If applicable, enter a price. If this needs to be multiplied per guest, check this option.
⚠️ WARNING: If you have linked a shift and the function "mandatory to choose an experience" is off, it is possible that you also want to specify the price on your shift. Otherwise, the guest can still book via the calendar without making an advance payment!
Optionally, you can also choose a position (for display) and stock.
Here you can find the created shift in the chosen category
FAQ
-
Question: I have multiple zones, can I set it so that only one zone is used?
Answer: Yes, you can configure this in linked shift(s). Learn here how to do this -
Question: I only see experiences in the booking frame, no calendar or other options
Answer: Look for the category where there is an asterisk next to the green dot in the top left corner. This contains the configuration "Mandatory to choose an experience". Choose edit and uncheck "Mandatory to choose an experience". -
Question: Why don't I see the experience in the booking frame?
Answer: The category to which the experience belongs is probably invisible. Click edit and check "Visible when booking". -
Question: Do I have to add a shift?
Answer: No, this is not a mandatory field, but then all available dates and shifts will be displayed. This may be desirable when you have chosen "Mandatory to choose an experience". -
Question: I added a deposit on the experience, but now I get bookings where the customer has not paid, why is this?
Answer: The deposit was probably not added to the shift. The customer probably booked via the calendar and not via the experience and therefore did not have to pay this way.
