Depending on your subscription, you can create different templates.
Within RestoManager, there are two types of Templates:
- With every subscription, you can create Newsletter and gift voucher templates.
- Additional options also include email templates for confirmations, reminders, payment confirmations, and more.
Creating and editing
There are two ways to create a template. To create a Template, follow these steps:
- At the top right under "Templates," choose "add"
- Choose a title for your template.
⚠️ Note: for gift vouchers and email templates, this is what the guest will see.
To the right of the title field, you can add shortcodes via </> to insert, for example, the guest's name or the name of your business. - Then select the type of template you wish to create
In the list of existing templates, you will always find an icon on the right side to copy, edit, or delete.
Using AI for your design:
At the bottom left of the editor, you will find various functions such as undo, redo, preview, and display. At the end of the row, you will also find the AI Assistant option. When you tap this, a field appears on the right where you can describe how you would like your template to look.
Describe as clearly as possible what you want to achieve.
Be clear and realistic:
- Request the use of your corporate identity colours, adding them as hex codes: for example, #7367f0
- If you want to add links to your socials, reservation frame, etc., make sure you have them ready.
- For images, you can ask for placeholders, which you can add later.
Manually creating a design:
In this example, we will create a newsletter template. For this, you can simply give a placeholder title, e.g., "newsletter template". You can still change this title when creating your actual newsletter in the newsletters module.
- Click on content (
) and look for background colour. As always, you can choose a colour using a colour picker. If you know your house style codes, you can also paste them.
Here you can also choose the default text colour and alignment.
- Next, via content (
), you can add blocks by dragging them into the field and develop the structure of your newsletter template.
For example, first add an image for your logo, then a section (as a title), a paragraph for a text block, etc.
- Depending on the selected block, you can specify it. Click the image at the top to add the logo
Click the button to add the URL to your reservation frame
You can read here (click) where to find the direct link to the reservation frame.
