To prevent no-shows, an ICS file is always included with a booking confirmation. This handy little file allows the guest to add the booking to their calendar immediately with just one (Gmail) or two (Outlook) clicks.
Gmail:
When a Gmail user receives a booking confirmation, they will see two options at the top of the email:
- Add the booking immediately to the calendar
- Calculate the route from the current / desired location.
Outlook:
...or for many people "Hotmail", this option is also available. The guest needs to click the arrow next to the attached ICS file and choose to add it to the calendar:
